Nexusphase LLC is an officially certified and approved provider of live scan fingerprinting services in California, as authorized by the Department of Justice. With our advanced live scan fingerprinting system, we are able to digitally capture and scan your fingerprints, swiftly transmitting them electronically to the State Department of Justice in Sacramento. The entire process is efficient and hassle-free, ensuring that your fingerprints are scanned and submitted within minutes.

 

Our company implements a $40 fee for fingerprint rolling services for each Live Scan transaction. Additionally, as part of our regulatory obligations, we are required to collect and forward the relevant State and/or FBI fees, depending on the specific type of Live Scan requested. Are you prepared for your live scan appointment?

 

Please ensure that you have a fully completed live scan form when you arrive for your appointment. To ensure that you have the correct live scan form from the Department of Justice (DOJ), Nexusphase recommends that you confirm with the agency requesting the live scan before visiting our location.

 

This is the most efficient and secure method to ensure that you are properly prepared. Having a live scan request form is essential for the smooth transfer of fingerprint images to both the State and Federal government, and ultimately to the requesting agency. The form will contain important information such as the agency's ORI code and mailing code, which our technicians will need to complete the request accurately. Additionally, it is important that your own personal information is accurately provided on the live scan application form.

 

The fingerprinting process is efficient and painless, and we are able to scan and submit your fingerprints within minutes.

 

In order for us to successfully complete the fingerprinting procedure, please ensure that you have the following:

1. A Request for Live Scan Fingerprinting Services Form, which will be provided to you by the requesting agency along with any accompanying instructions. It is important to note that different agencies may require different forms.

2. A valid government-issued photo identification card that has not expired. Examples of acceptable identification include a DMV driver's license or ID, passport, military ID card, or alien registration card/green card photo ID. Please be aware that we cannot accept expired identification.

 

Important Information about Live Scan Fingerprinting:

 

In most cases, a Social Security Card is not typically required. However, it is advisable to verify with your employment or licensing agency to confirm their specific requirements. Please note that Nexusphase LLC is unable to provide assistance in completing the Request for Live Scan Service form. This is in accordance with the regulations set by the California Department of Justice, which prohibit us from offering guidance on the application process. If you encounter any issues or have any questions, we kindly request that you reach out to your respective employment or licensing agency for assistance.

 

Fingerprints may occasionally be rejected by the Department of Justice for various reasons. One common reason is that the applicant's fingerprints may have unique characteristics that are challenging to capture during the live scan process, such as cuts, scars, or calluses. If your fingerprints are rejected on these grounds and were originally scanned by Nexusphase LLC, we will gladly rescan and resubmit them at no additional cost to you. However, if your fingerprints were not originally submitted by Nexusphase LLC, you will be responsible for the associated processing fees. Please note that making corrections on the form does not count as a resubmission, nor does being fingerprinted for another employment or licensing agency. In order to have your fingerprints processed in California, you must physically be present within the state; being outside of California will not be accepted. Please be aware that Nexusphase's services are only available for individuals requiring live scan fingerprinting within California and are not applicable for other states.
